Apex Integrated Systems

Apex Integrated Systems was founded as Apex Communications Services began in 2004 in Denver, Colorado. In 2016, Apex Communications Services changed its name to Apex Integrated Systems to reflect the more diverse service offerings that had evolved.

We are a low voltage integrator that provides security, access control, audio visual, structured wiring, Bi Direction antennae as well as a host of other low voltage services to the construction industry.

Our organization is split into a Projects / Construction Division and a Service / Installation Division. The Projects / Construction Division executes new construction projects, working primarily with Developers and General Contractors. Our Service / Installation Division provides service and repair to the commercial / commercial residential market as well as performing equipment installation and commissioning in existing structures.

Our market includes multi-family communities, in addition to commercial markets. These include hotels and small businesses.

Our goal is to provide a professional service to our clients and ensure that we do not compromise quality and safety as we perform our work. To date, we have been successfully achieving this goal. We have experienced 300% growth in the last five years and now employ over 30 people in the metro Denver, Colorado area.

Our field employees all undergo OSHA training when they begin employment with us to demonstrate our commitment to a culture of safety and to ensure they approach each job with safety as a foremost requirement. The OSHA training is maintained current through their employment. In addition, all of our employees undergo background checks, drug and alcohol prior to joining our team, we follow up with random drug and alcohol training or tests as part of our standard operating process.

Leadership Team

David Pezdirc-Managing Partner

David has over 25 years in the Oil and Gas industry, working with various Fortune 500 companies, completing his career with ExxonMobil. David has held Senior Management positions with progressive and extensive experience in the management of international offshore oil and gas subsea service operations and project management of large capital projects, including having spent fifteen years in West Africa. Now as the Managing Partner of Apex, David is able to bring his broad based experiences to lead the culture and direction of the Apex organization as its employee base continues to grow and the organization works to gain market share in the industry.

Darin Gilliand-President / Managing Partner

Darin Gilliland has been with Apex Integrated Systems for more than six years. Darin brings over 20 years of electronics and low voltage experience to the organization. Darin is a veteran of the US Navy, completing his time in the service as a weapons electronics technician. For the past 15 years, Darin has been involved in all aspects of low voltage integration and design, including fire systems. Darin is President / Partner in Apex Integrated Systems, involved in the strategic decisions, for growth and direction of the organization. In addition, Darin is acting in the capacity of Operations Manager to oversee and manage the growth in the Projects / Construction Division. Darin’s past experience and leadership abilities have been instrumental in managing the success of Apex Integrated Systems.

Training / Technician Career Progression

Our goal is to provide both to our employees and our Clients the best trained staff in our industry. It is also our objective that we staff our Projects and Service teams with capable and able personnel so that our Clients will know what they can expect when Apex personnel show up for the job at hand.

Apex Integrated Systems has established a protocol for advancement in our organization that ensures our technicians are properly trained and experienced when they are assigned to a task. The advancement protocol begins with a Level 1 technician and progresses through a Level 4 technician.

At each technician level, we promote, make accessible, provide the necessary training to each person so that they can advance within our organization. This standardized training, combined with the required experience levels, sets expectations for our technicians and provides confidence to our Clients.
